Our client is a wellknown multi brand apparel company that is looking for a new Walmart Account Director to join their team,

This role is four days a week in office in Secaucus 

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Director to lead our clients Walmart business segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, fostering strong relationships with Walmart, and ensuring the successful growth and profitability of our private-label apparel line.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share and sales revenue with Walmart.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with Walmart's buying and merchandising teams.
  • Understand Walmart’s business needs and trends to offer tailored apparel solutions.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product alignment with Walmart's standards and consumer preferences.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports, analyzing market trends and competitors' strategies.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Walmart's policies and guidelines.
  • Attend trade shows, sales meetings, and other events to promote products and gather market intelligence.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in sales leadership, specifically in the apparel industry with a focus on private label
  • Walmart experience highly prefered 
  • Intimates experience required
  • Strong track record of managing large retail accounts, preferably with Walmart or similar big-box retailers
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of the retail and fashion landscape
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Leadership and team management
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

 

HYBRID SCHEDULE:

4 days in office, Friday work from home
